Today we had 2 group fieldtrips…in the morning we went back to the room that we received our children yesterday and we got our adoption certificate. It is the document that finalizes our adoption in China! Elijah Mingzhe is our son! Next we went to the notary’s office and filled out more papers and paid more fees. This afternoon we took the bus again as a group and went to the Lotus store for provisions. We had KFC for dinner. Eli is so fun to watch as he experiences so many things for the first time! Today we walked down 4 flights of stairs…he did not know what to do when we were at the top stair. I showed him and he did what I showed him! He is a very good imitator…We got lots of smiles and giggles out of him and he is great with both of us. But today he was starting to show a preference for me….
Bright and early tomorrow we will journey to Xuchang to see his finding spot as well as visit his orphanage….
Again, we are very tired….goodnight….
